WORTHINGTON, Minn. -- The slim hope that the Awra Doro Inc. poultry processing plant will reopen in Worthington, Minn., will fade to nearly nothing when the plant's equipment is auctioned off this week.
Jay Zadoorian, of Equipment Exchange Co. of America Inc., Lake City, Pa., said 60 to 80 parties have expressed interest in the ADI equipment. But none is reportedly interested in buying the equipment, keeping it in Worthington and reopening the chicken plant.
