Presidents Day Invitational
Over 700 swimmers from more than 45 teams will compete in the annual Presidents Day Invitational youth swim meet Friday through Sunday at the Rochester Recreation Center.
The event, hosted by the Rochester Swim Club Orcas, will include many of the top swimmers in the Upper Midwest.
"The Orcas have a great team entered, 106 swimmers," notes meet director and the team’s head age group coach Steve Varney. "Watch for the Orcas in the pool as they prepare for state championships."
"The events we host at the Recreation Center bring visitors to the city of Rochester for several three-day weekends a year," Orcas program director John Sfire said. "The swimmers and their families love Rochester and they bring quite a bit of business into the community."
