Proceeds from community garage sale will benefit club

There will be a community rummage sale Friday and Saturday at the Boys &; Girls Club in Rochester.

The sale will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the club, 1026 E. Center St. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the club and the Southeast Settlers and Eastside Pioneers neighborhood associations.

Donated items for the sale will be accepted from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at the club. Household and personal items that are clean, in good repair and can be carried away may be donated. Contributions are tax-deductible. Baked goods are also needed.

Organizers are still seeking volunteers who want to help Thursday with receiving donations, setting up and working at the sale.
