Four Rochester teens were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon near Mankato.

The teens were reportedly traveling home from Lourdes High School’s state championship softball game in Mankato.

The crash occurred at 5:20 p.m. on U.S. Highway 14 at 598th Avenue in Eagle Lake, according to the State Patrol.

A Subaru Ascent driven by Kari Jo Lundberg, 51, of Redwood Falls, failed to yield at the intersection, according to the State Patrol, and collided with a Mazda CX-5 driven by Paige Elise McPeak, 18, of Rochester.

Both drivers were taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries. Also transported with non-life threatening injuries were Julian Juan Bretton, 18, of Rochester; Oliver Paul Dahlberg, 18, of Rochester; and Kathyrn Margaret Hyberger, 18, of Rochester.

Everyone involved was wearing seat belts, the State Patrol reported. A report on the condition of the injured drivers and passengers was not available.
