ROCK DELL — Two individuals suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash roughly four miles west of Rochester International Airport.

The crash occurred at about 5:16 p.m. Tuesday in Rock Dell Township. A 2014 Ford Fusion driven by Melissa Ann Debus, 26, of Stewartville, was traveling south on Olmsted County Road 15 and failed to stop at the intersection of CR 15 and Minnesota Highway 30, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

The Ford then collided with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am driven west on Highway 30 by Daniel Jay Kropp, 32, of Rochester. Both vehicles came to rest in in the ditch and caught on fire.

Both individuals were transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with life-threatening injuries, the report said. Both remained in critical condition Wednesday, according to a Regions Hospital spokeswoman.

Stewartville Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Olmsted County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
