A 37-year-old Rochester man faces several felony charges after Rochester police allegedly found approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine in his vehicle.
At approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday, officers from Rochester’s Criminal Interdiction Unit stopped Daniel Aaland after he left his home at 235 11th Ave. NE. The officers had a search warrant, allowing them access to his vehicle and home.
Rochester Police Capt. Casey Moilanen said the officers arrested Aaland on first- and second-degree controlled substance crime charges, as well as possessing a pistol with a previous felony conviction.
After searching the vehicle, the officers also searched the home where Moilanen said they found small amounts of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
No one else was home when the house was searched.
