Rochester police have arrested a second man thy believed was involved in a shooting at the Meadow Park Apartments complex last month.

Abdirahman Abdullahi, 27, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder with intent-not premeditated, according to jail records.

Abdullahi was arrested Monday night at Colonial Lanes bowling alley without incident, according to Capt. Casey Moilanen. Police had been called there for an unrelated incident when officers recognized Abdullahi.

Police were called shortly after 9:40 p.m. Aug. 7 to the Meadow Park Apartments complex, 1430 Fourth Ave. SE, for a report of a shooting.

Police found a 24-year-old man unresponsive and covered in blood in front of an apartment on the third floor of the 1430 apartment building. The man, who is not identified in court records, suffered three gunshot wounds on his upper chest, one on the back of his head and one on his left shin below the knee.

He was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital–Saint Marys. On Tuesday morning, Moilanen declined to provide information on the 24-year-old's condition other than that the man remains hospitalized. In declining to provide further information, Moilanen said he was concerned for the man's safety.

Iman Abucar-Hagi Iman, 26, turned himself in to the Adult Detention Center last month. He faces felony charges in Olmsted County District Court of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, possession of ammo/any firearm-conviction or adjudicated delinquent for crime of violence and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

He is being held on $5 million unconditional bail.

Speaking of Iman and Abdullahi, Moilanen said, "they've terrorized this community. They've terrorized the Somali community, and I hope they can be held accountable for their actions."
