CALEDONIA — A motorcyclist died after losing control of his bike north of Caledonia.

David J. Adamek, 75, of River Falls, Wis., was driving south on Minnesota Highway 76 near the Caledonia Wayside Park at 11:32 a.m. Monday when he lost control of his 1994 Harley Davidson while negotiating a curve. The motorcycle ran off the road to the right, striking the guard railing. As the motorcycle was laid down, Adamek was thrown from the motorcycle, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

He was not transported to a health care facility, the report states.
