A 19-year-old man died Friday following an aggressive situation at the group home where he lived, according to Rochester police.
Rochester police said Antione Evans-Hill was pronounced dead Friday at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys.
Members of the Rochester Police and Fire Departments and Mayo Clinic Ambulance were called around 9 p.m. Friday to the 3800 block of Winesap Drive Northwest.
Capt. Casey Moilanen said the 19-year-old man had been acting aggressively and that staff attempted to restrain him. At some point during the incident, Evans-Hill indicated that he was going to stop his behavior and said he wanted to lie on the ground by himself, Moilanen said.
It was during that time that staff noticed Evans-Hill was not breathing. They attempted CPR and called for first responders. Evans-Hill was taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death
