A woman taking a break at a picnic table outside her work said four teens grabbed her purse and fled Tuesday afternoon.
Police Capt. Brian Winters said the 25-year-old victim chased the suspects, but they got away.
The victim said she was at a picnic table outside her business in the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue Southeast about 2:30 p.m. She said four teens — three girls and one boy — approached her. One of the girls grabbed her purse and the four ran. The victim told police she chased after them for about a block. She said at one point, the boy kicked her in the shin.
