Quarry Hill Nature Center on the east side of Rochester will begin its regular school-year schedule of Sunday programs with bird banding from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
The program is run at the same time the first Sunday of each month during the school year.
Besides the program on bird banding, there are Family Fun Day events on every second Sunday, cave tours every third Sunday, and Active Naturalist programs every fourth Sunday.
The center itself is open from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays and holidays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
