The Rochester Community and Technical College softball team improved to 14-1 with a doubleheader sweep of St. Cloud Tech on Friday.
The host Yellowjackets won 16-0 and 9-1 in a pair of five-inning games. RCTC, now 6-0 in the Southern Division of the MACA, is ranked second in the nation among Division III teams.
Wendi Irlbeck pitched a two-hit shutout in the opener, and she had plenty of offensive support.
Caitlin Donahoe, Andria Rogers and Amy Fordham were all 3-for-4 at the plate. Donahoe drove in four runs, and Rogers drove in three. Fordham scored three runs and stole two stolen bases. Kelly Shaner was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Alyssa Mackey was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a triple in the nightcap. Shaner was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored, and Fordham went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a triple.
RCTC will host Minnesota State-Fergus Falls next Friday at 3 p.m.
