Global Connection Days, a celebratory and educational event to highlight world cultures, begins Wednesday and continues through Friday at Rochester Community and Technical College.
Activities include panel discussions, entertainment and an ethnic fashion show.
Two panel discussions will be Wednesday. The first one, "Culture Adjustment in the United States," will be at 10 a.m., followed by the presentation "Stolen Childhoods" by Chivy Sok, a human rights and child labor activist, at 11 a.m. Sok will speak again at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
At 11 a.m. Thursday, a panel will discuss "School for America -- School of Assassins," followed at noon by a talk on "Embracing Diversity and Language in the Work Place."
On Friday, Fan Shen, author of "Gang of One," will speak at 9 a.m.

All panel discussions will be at Hill Theatre at University Center Rochester.
Global Connection Days concludes Friday with a fiesta from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the College Center cafeteria. A potluck will be served at 6 p.m. Admission is free.
