Ridgewater notes: Ridgewater is last in the Southern Division in defense (323.0 yards per game) and is fourth out of five teams in offense (233.2), but virtually the same as RCTC (233.3). The team is second in the South in passing with 720 yards, and RCTC has struggled with pass coverage. Lance Bussler has passed for 423 yards, and Jason Pawelk is a receiving threat with 14 catches, a 17.6 average and three TDs. Justin Laughlin has rushed for 333 yards. Ridgewater has been outscored 168-66.

RCTC notes: Linebacker Jamin Ramsay was the Southern Division Defensive Player of the Week for his effort against Fergus Falls last Saturday. Offensive linemen Allan Palmer and Justin Eckert return from injuries. Several defensive players have missed practice time with week with injuries: DL Adrian Johnson, LB Alex Gomez, LB Marcus Ball and DL Alex Theede. The Yellowjackets have allowed 266.8 yards a game and have outscored foes 130-88. RCTC has a bye next week before playing at Minnesota West on Oct. 21.
