Rochester Community and Technical College split a baseball doubleheader Tuesday at Riverland Technical College in Austin.
Riverland slammed 17 hits in a 12-6 win in the first game, then RCTC came back with an 8-6 win in the second game.
Jeremy Cordie got the loss in the first game. Tony Linbo was 4-for-4 for the Yellowjackets.
In the second game, RCTC scored three runs in the sixth inning without benefit of a hit to key the win. Joe Kanz had a homer and Brian Preston a two-run single.
RCTC is 3-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Jackets are at Winona State today against the junior varsity.
