Kyle Peterson of Central Lakes took medalist honors with an even-par 144 over two days.
The top 10 individuals plus the winning team players advance to the NJCAA national meet scheduled for June 2005 in Buffalo, N.Y. RCTC's Jeremy Dahlen (Hayfield) missed the cut by two strokes with a 165. Another Hayfield graduate, sophomore Eric Goar, gave the Yellowjackets a boost with an 82 on Tuesday, coming back from a 96 Monday.
"To be second in state and fourth in region is a very good accomplishment," RCTC coach Brian LaPlante said. "Olson was just outstanding. ... We ended up where our goal was. It was a nice way to finish the season."
