Nationwide, October is American Pharmacists month. During this time, as leaves begin to change, school gets into full swing, and days shorten, we recognize the health care efforts of the profession of pharmacy.
As important members of health care, pharmacists work around the clock to dispense, dose, verify, develop, enhance and promote quality medications. Behind the scenes, these individuals work to ensure your medication is the most appropriate and safe therapy possible. More importantly, pharmacists are references, community leaders and lifelines throughout the nation. As a future pharmacist, it is a privilege to be a member of this healthcare community.
