ST. PAUL -- Minnesota companies now can file their required annual registrations online, Secretary of State Mary Kiffmeyer announced Monday.
Previously, businesses had to send in a paper report by mail "Once it arrived at our office, staff had to enter the information manually into the database," Kiffmeyer said.
Computerized filing streamlines the process for the Secretary of State's office and provides businesses with immediate confirmation, she said.
The electronic filing is available using a form available at the Secretary of State's BeSure Web site, www.sos.state.mn.us.
