Rochester-area Republicans will gather Tuesday to endorse two legislative candidates.
Delegates at the Senate District 30 endorsing convention will endorse a candidate to take on DFL Sen. Ann Lynch of Rochester in November.
Another candidate is expected to be endorsed to run against DFL state Rep. Tina Liebling of Rochester in District 30A.

Competing for the Senate seat are two Republicans — former state Rep. Carla Nelson and former Republican Party of Olmsted County chair Lynn Zaffke.
Meanwhile, three Republicans are considering running for the House District 30A seat, according to Republican Party of Olmsted County co-chair Bruce Kaskubar.
