Rex H. Gregor -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- The funeral for Rex H. Gregor will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Messiah United Methodist Church in Plymouth, Minn.

Mr. Gregor, 82, of Plymouth, formerly of Rochester, died Tuesday (Jan. 4, 2005) at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Oakwood Township, Minn. During World War II, he was wounded and received the Silver Star for bravery. After the war, he began his career in hospital administration in Rochester. He later went into sales, and upon retirement established the Gregor Farm and Greenhouse in Wayzata with his wife Arlene and son. In 1990, he retired from the greenhouse and began selling seeds on the Internet.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tom (Patty), and John (Jenny); three daughters, Sandy Gregor, Debra (Andy) Bowerman and Cheryl (Kevin) Kruizenga; and 15 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Gearty Delmore Funeral Chapel in Plymouth, and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
