Roadrunners lose4-1 to Northfield

The Rochester Roadrunners lost a non-league game to Northfield 4-1 on Wednesday.

Rochester scored its run in the first inning when John Howard Carroll doubled to knock in Jeremy Christie. The Roadrunners struck out 14 times and had only three hits in the game.

Starting pitcher Dave Laukkonen pitched seven innings, striking out nine.

The Roadrunners are 4-3 overall and play again on Wednesday at Dodge Center.
