Robert Allen Dunderi -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- A graveside service for Robert Allen Dunderi will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with the Rev. Daniel Ashpole officiating.

Mr. Dunderi, 67, of 2005 U.S. 14 E., Rochester, a carpenter, died of kidney failure Monday (April 1, 2002) at Saint Marys Hospital.

He was born May 27, 1934, in Annandale, Minn., and lived in a number of Minnesota locations before moving to Rochester. He later lived in Stover, Mo., for six years before returning to Rochester in July 2001 due to poor health. On July 2, 1965, he married Barbara Finley Hewitt in Rochester. She worked for Minnesota Viking Food Service at IBM before her retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Barbara Dietz, Terry (Richard) Quandt and Kathy (Randy) Markee, all of Rochester, and Becky (Chris) Stucky of Pine Island; three sons, Cliff (Cheri) Hewitt and Rick Hewitt, both of Rochester, and Michael (Jackie) Hewitt of Pine Island; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, John (Ann) of Clearwater, Minn. Four brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call an hour before the service at the mausoleum.
