Robert Rendernick -- Rochester

ROCHESTER -- A funeral Mass for Robert Rendernick will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church near Viola, with the Rev. Thomas Mroczka officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Memorial Cemetery in Viola.

Mr. Rendernick, 75, of Rochester, died Tuesday (Oct. 12, 2004).

He was born March 11, 1929, in St. Charles. After graduation he worked under a master electrician, later earning his journeyman electrician license. On Oct. 23, 1965, he married Carol Drake at the Catholic church in St. Charles. Mrs. Rendernick works at Mayo Clinic. Mr. Rendernick owned and operated Home Appliance Company in St. Charles until 1970, and then continued working as an electrician in Local Union 343 until his retirement in 1991. After his retirement, he was a school bus and limousine driver and worked in city parking ramps. He had lived in Rochester for 31 years. Mr. Rendernick was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and Electricians Union Local 343. He was a past member of the St. Charles Moose Lodge and was active in politics. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making maple syrup.

; Survivors include his wife; three children, Robyn of Zumbro Falls and Russell and Corey (Susan), both of Rochester.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. There will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
