Rochester farmers market report 11-7

The Rochester Downtown Winter Farmers Market will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in building 41 at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds (Graham Park). Market dates for the rest of the year are Nov. 15, 22 and Dec. 6 and 20.

Produce: Apples, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, celeriac, cauliflower, collards, garlic, garlic braids, corn salad, kale, kohlrabi, onions, onion braids, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, rutabagas, shallots, snow peas, spinach, arugula, spring greens, tomatoes, turnips, winter squash.

Meats and dairy: Hand-crafted cheeses; farm-fresh eggs; USDA processed, hormone free meats: grass-fed and corn-fed beef; natural lamb; pork, chicken, and turkey; goat, elk, and bison.

Specialty items: Baked goods ( breads and rolls, quick breads, cookies, pies, cakes and bars); dried apple chips; wide and thin cut egg noodles; peanut brittle and cashew crunch; popping corn on the cob; honey; caramel apples; apple cider; apple roll-ups; maple syrup; jams, jellies, salsas, bruschetta, chutney, relishes, and fruit butters; tomato sauce; candles; soaps; elk antler capsules; buffalo hides and robes; gourds; home-spun wool crafts; fall decorations; sunflower heads.
