WINONA — Winona Police arrested a man who allegedly pointed a gun at another man at 12:31 p.m. on Tuesday near North Baker and West Fifth St. in Winona.
Police say a 19-year-old Rochester man was observed carrying an object in his hand and ran into an adjacent residence. He was ordered out by officers and taken into custody. A realistic-looking replica BB gun was recovered from the house.
According to the report, the incident began with an argument between the suspect and a man from Winona over money. Police say the suspect went inside the residence, emerged with the gun and pointed it in a threatening manner at the other man. No injuries were reported.
The suspect, who is being held in the Winona County Jail, may face charges of terroristic threats, second-degree assault and displaying a firearm in public.
