Rochester sisters hold CD-release events

2 Degrees, a Rochester-based duo, has two upcoming events timed to its new CD.

The band, which is sisters Lori Reinalda, formerly of Wake-Up Call, and Linda Fox, will hold a CD release party Saturday at Christian Book and Gift Shop, 815 N. Broadway in Rochester. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with CD and book signings.

"Dream" was recorded with professional Nashville musicians at the Project Room Studio in Hendersonville, Tenn. The CD features a variety of familiar songs with styles ranging from contemporary Christian to country to classic oldies to blues.

The CD release party will be followed by 2 Degrees’ first live concert since the release of their CD. The concert is Nov. 3 at Oasis Church in Rochester.

Music starts at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and refreshments will follow. The church is at 1815 38th St. N.W.
