Rochester track preview

JOHN MARSHALL

Head coach: Sean Allen, first year.

Last year: Big Nine Conference, ninth (62 points). Section One, Class AA, 15th (4 points). State qualifiers, none.

Outlook: Nowhere to go but up. There are several seniors who have returned. Senior Said Roble is a threat in every event on the track and in the jumps. Jayvie Ramirez will lead in sprint relays along with junior Este Kan. Seniors Harun Abdule and James Higgs are the leading high jumpers. In the distances, Kyle Ward is the top runner wile junior Tyler Brody and Devin Farlow are tough in the hurdles and pole vault.
