Rochester woman struck by vehicle

A 40-year-old Rochester woman was struck by a motor vehicle on 11th St. N.W. in a hit-and-run accident.

Chanthy Phayvanh, of 21 11th St. N.W., emerged from her vehicle and was trying to cross the street when she was struck. She was not in a marked crosswalk. The white vehicle that struck her left the scene before police arrived.

Police are investigating the case as a hit-and-run and are seeking the public's assistance in finding the vehicle and driver. Call 285-8200 if you have information. A Mayo Clinic spokeswoman said Phayvanh was seen and dismissed.
