STEWARTVILLE -- The funeral for Ronald V. Schultz Jr. will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville, with the Rev. Jules Erickson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Stewartville.
Mr. Schultz, 32, of 620 Eighth Ave. N.E., Stewartville, operational manager at K and S Heating and Air Conditioning in Rochester, died Sunday (Aug. 11, 2002) of injuries suffered in an auto accident in Rice County near Faribault.
He was born Nov. 15, 1969, in Red Wing, grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School. On July 27, 1996, he married Kimberly Munson in Albert Lea. She is an instructor at Aldrich Memorial Nursery School in Rochester. He had worked at K and S Heating and Air Conditioning for several years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville and Oak Summit Golf Club in rural Rochester. He was an avid sportsman and was active in softball, broomball and hunting.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Paige, and a son, Brock, both at home; his parents, Ronald and Judy Schultz of Rochester; a sister, Stephanie (Jade) Sherman of Albert Lea; paternal grandparents, Virgil and Genevieve Schultz of Red Wing; and maternal grandmother, Jan Folstad of Red Wing. His maternal grandfather preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Gray Funeral Home in Stewartville and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
