ROCHESTER -- A memorial Mass for Roslyn P. Sivly will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Timothy T. Reker officiating.
Mrs. Sivly, 88, of Rochester, a retired nurse, died Aug. 27, 2003, at Seasons Hospice.
Roslyn Gohde was born Dec. 30, 1914, in Wells, Minn., graduated from Wells High School and from the Kahler School of Nursing in 1936. She was a registered nurse at the Kahler, Colonial and Rochester Methodist hospitals. Mrs. Sivly was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Joan of Arc, Rosary Group and Methodist Kahler Alumni. She volunteered at St. Francis Grade School and Community Clothesline. Her husband, John Sivly, was a salesman for Wonder Bread. He died in 1966.
Survivors include a son, Jon (Pam) of Rochester and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call an hour before the service at the church.
