Rushford-Peterson defeats Southland/Grand Meadow in golf

RUSHFORD — The Southland/Grand Meadow boys golf team dropped a Three Rivers Conference dual meet against Rushford-Peterson on Monday at the Ferndale Country Club.

Rushford-Peterson won 179-to-207 in the Three Rivers dual. Jared Agrimson of R-P was the meet medalist with a round of 41 on the day.

Brandon Kinney was the low man for Southland/Grand Meadow with a round of 46. He was the only S/GM golfer to shoot in the 40s.

"It was a tough day at the races," S/GM coach Tim Brennan said. "The weather was beautiful, but we weren’t. Today was the kind of day you just say, ‘Let's forget it and move on, boys.’ There will be better days ahead."


Southland/Grand Meadow (1-2 TRC) competes in the Triton Invitational this afternoon.
