AUSTIN -- The funeral for Ruth J. Berg, 96, formerly of Faribault, the mother of an Austin man, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Home Chapel in Albert Lea, with the Rev. Conrad Monsager officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.
Mrs. Berg died Monday (Aug. 26, 2002) at St. John's Lutheran Home in Albert Lea.
She is survived by a son, Robert (Laurie) Berg of Austin; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; a son; eight sisters; and one brother.
Visitation will be at the St. John's Lutheran Home Chapel for one hour prior to the service.
Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault is in charge of arrangements.
