Sandra Ann ‘Sandy’ Wiskow — St. Charles

ST. CHARLES — Funeral services for Sandra Ann "Sandy" Wiskow will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles, with the Rev. James F. Callahan officiating.

Mrs. Wiskow, 60, of St. Charles, died Wednesday (March 18, 2009) at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Sandra Ann Wilkins was born July 16, 1948, in Rochester. She graduated from St. Charles High School in 1967. After graduation she moved to Rochester and worked at Saint Marys Hospital before returning to St. Charles to work at Whitewater Healthcare Center. She ran a Child Day Care Center for many years, and at the time of her death was employed at Good Sport Liquor, where she had worked as a cook for the last 12 years.

On June 1, 1968, she married Bob Wiskow in St. Charles. She was a member of the St. Charles American Legion Auxiliary most of her life, and enjoyed camping and long summer weekends at Devil’s Lake at Webster, Wis.

Mrs. Wiskow is survived by her husband; two daughters, Corinne (Eric) Polin of Elba and Martina (Chad) Kral of Red Oak, Texas; three sons, Rick (Linda) Wilkins, Matt Wiskow and Adam Wiskow, all of St. Charles; and a grandson, Dane Wiskow. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Violet (Meyers) Wilkins; and a brother.


Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
