Scott T. 'Musky' Connaughty -- Winona

WINONA -- The funeral for Scott T. "Musky" Connaughty will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hoff Funeral Homes-Lewiston Chapel with John Wagenaar officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Connaughty, 37, of Kansas City, Kan., formerly of Winona, died Tuesday (June 4, 2002) at his parents' home in Goodview.

Born March 27, 1965, in Winona, he attended Winona High School, graduated from Winona Technical School in 1993 and served in the Army Reserves. On April 9, 1988, he married Sonja Arntsen at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They lived in Kansas City, where he was a tool and die molder for Creative Mold Co. He enjoyed sports, especially following the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Ryan, Zachary and Mara, all of Kansas City; his parents, Jim and Kathy (Selke) Connaughty of Goodview; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Conaughty of Winona; a brother, Todd (Samantha) of Onalaska, Wis.; and two sisters, Karie Connaughty and Heidi Poolo, both of Winona. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Hoff Funeral Homes-Burke Winona Chapel and an hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home in Lewiston.
