Second burglary reported at area house

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Department is investigating the second burglary at a Cascade Township home in less than a month.

Detective Brad Nelson said the sheriff's department received a report of a residential burglary just after 11 a.m. Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of Chippewa Drive Northwest. A safe had been taken along with $300 cash, savings bonds and two tickets to a comedy show valued at $300, Nelson said.

Nelson said the same home was burglarized March 31. Two suspects were arrested in that case.
