Semitrailer, snowplow collide

The driver of a semitrailer was hospitalized after he drove his truck into the rear of a snowplow on Interstate 90, west of the Dover exit, on Saturday.

Steve Gnapp Jr., 57, of Adams, is reported in fair condition today at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

The State Patrol said he was driving west on the interstate at about 6:30 p.m. when he drove his truck into the rear of the Minnesota Department of Transportation snowplow, which was driven by Nicholas Prudoehl, 40, of St. Charles. Both vehicles went into a ditch. Prudoehl was not hospitalized.
