Senators will review sex-offender program

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Sex Offender Treatment Program will be the focus of a hearing conducted by two state Senate committees Monday.

Senators who called the informational hearing, being held jointly by the Judiciary Committee and the Health and Family Security Committee, want to review the quality of treatment received by people committed to the program and the potential that some of them might be released into the community.
