Friends of Chester Woods may participate in various activities at the park. From noon to 4:30 p.m. there will be lakeshore cleanup from land or water. From 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. join Joel Dunnette for an interpretive hike through some of the natural areas of the park. At 6 p.m. there will be a potluck dinner. Bring a dish to pass, and your own beverage and eating utensils. At 9:30 p.m. join a group of moonlight paddlers for a trip on the lake. Bring your own watercraft. "For the Love of Place" exhibit opens with landscape paintings by Corene Bernatz at the Rochester Art Center.
