Sexual assault in Byron reported

A 30-year-old Dodge Center woman says she was sexually assaulted late Saturday outside a bar in Byron, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Department.

The woman's husband reported the incident to the department about 2 a.m. Sunday. The department is investigating, said Capt. Mike Lawler.

According to the report, the woman left the 3D Sports Bar in Byron at about 10:45 p.m. and found a man in her vehicle. He sexually assaulted the woman in her car, then made her drive him to a convenience store and then to Kasson, the report says.
