The Toastmasters Showcase, an event organizers said is designed to inform and inspire, will be May 10 at the Spring Valley Public Library.
Lynn Mensink, president of the Bluff County Toastmasters, will introduce the storytellers and motivational speakers.
Six speakers will cover a variety of subjects, including the historical Valley Forge, the milestones of life, high school memories, weddings and how they are "The Biggest Scam Ever," and another story, titled "The Alien Bag Lady."
Others will speak about the benefits of Toastmasters and how to become involved. For more information, call Laura Mangan at 346-2218.
