It was great to see Thursday’s editorial, "CareFest demonstrates the value of volunteering."
More than 1,700 Christ followers from 21 churches served the community last Saturday. That's part of the story. The folks who gave so freely of their time, talents, and resources will tell you the rest: this day was a great opportunity to show the love of Jesus to our neighbors. May God bless this community richly in the days and years to come.
