Bickler sends Lyle/Pacelli to sweep
Janel Smith singled to drive in Ashley Swancutt with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Chatfield a 9-8 win Monday over Plainview.
Chatfield's Ashley Dotzenrud, who got two hits in the game, also drove in a run in the seventh during a three-run rally. Katie Wilson's triple drove in two runs in the second inning.
Sophomore Amy Stevens started as pitcher for Chatfield (7-4, 4-4 Three Rivers), allowing four hits, striking out six and walking one. Sophomore Amanda Meyer relieved her in the fifth inning, allowing one hit.
Raegan Irish and Anne Graner got doubles for Plainview.

THREE RIVERS CONFERENCE
St. Charles 5, Elgin-Millville 2
Audrey Decker tossed a two-hitter and struck out 13 to pitch St. Charles past host Elgin-Millville (4-5 Three Rivers and overall). Amanda Ellson drove in a run for St. Charles (7-2) and Kate Peterson was 1-for-2 and scored twice.
Katie Ohm, who pitched a four-hitter, took the loss. Holly Reiter was 1-for-2 with two runs scored for Elgin-Millville.
Wabasha-Kellogg 5, Lewiston-Altura 0
Megan Kreye allowed just two hits while striking out nine and walking five in the game in Lewiston. The Falcons got 11 hits, with Dawn Marx lacing three singles and Kreye getting a double.
Dover-Eyota 11, Goodhue 3
Goodhue pitchers combined for a no-hitter until there were two out in the fifth in Goodhue. But the Wildcats were undone as they allowed 15 walks and commited four errors.

Lyle/Pacelli 8, Southland 0
L/P pitcher Amy Bickler tossed a two-hitter and struck out 13 in the opening game of this SEC twinbill. Bickler then threw a two-hitter and struck out six more to win the late game. Both teams came into the doubleheader tied atop the standings with 5-1 records.
After losing their first SEC game in two seasons last week, the L/P girls responded with a vengeance in the sweep.
Kate Boisjolie had five RBIs in the two games, Louise Mudra scored a pair of runs in each game, and Bickler had an RBI double in the late game. Megan Schroeder scored the only run of the day for the Rebels and had a hit in each game.
