A public hearing about Olmsted County’s plan to ban smoking in workplaces is scheduled for 8 p.m. today in the Whitewater and Cascade Room at 2100 Campus Drive S.E., one block east of Olmsted Medical Center, next to the Federal Medical Center.
The hearing will immediately follow the County Environmental Commission meeting.
Officials will share the results of a recent community survey about secondhand smoke and workplace policies, discuss recommendations for more protective policies and review the proposed ordinance that would enact a workplace smoking ban.
