STILLWATER, Minn. -- Jackie; Beste from Sauk Centre Country Club carded an even par round of 71 to claim the 57th Minnesota State Junior Girls Championship by five strokes at Sawmill Golf Course in Stillwater.
Staci Smoot, who will be a junior at Rochester Lourdes, finished tied for eighth with a 158 on rounds of 83-75.
