Panthers roll
Errors continue to be the undoing of the Eagles.
Lourdes committed eight errors against Pine island. The Panthers also had plenty to do with the final outcome as they banged out 16 hits in the Hiawatha Valley League game.
Christina Maley had four hits for the Panthers and scored three runs. Rachel Gustine was 3-for-4, and Ashley Bergren and Casie Austin had two hits each.

Lourdes coach Doc Johnson said his team is capable of turning things around.
"Our players just have to believe that they can do it," Johnson said.
Lourdes was led by Val Tracy with a hit and two runs scored. Kalie McNallan was the winning pitcher for Pine Island.
Lourdes is 3-5 overall and plays today at 5 p.m. at Triton.
