NEW LONDON, Minn. -- A Spicer woman was killed after she was hit by a truck while crossing U.S. Highway 71.
Nancy Tiffany, 41, was pronounced dead about 9 a.m. Thursday at the scene of the accident, four miles south of state Highway 9.
Tiffany was crossing the highway from the east side of the road when she was struck. The truck driver was not injured, according to the State Patrol.
