Stewartville woman rolls 738 with a 268

By Patrick Fitzgerald

Post-Bulletin, Rochester MN

Andrea Garrison continued her hot start to the season, when she fired a 738 series, which include a 268 game down in Stewartville.

Over in Byron, it was Adam Apo just missing our first 800 series when he rolled a 794 series. Reed Nordyke took his shot at the plateau as well, but had to settle for an outstanding 788 series at Recreation Lanes.

Our other top performances this week, included Harley Novotne at Colonial Lanes, who had two games more than 50 pins over average and a whopping 194 pins over for his series. Elaine Torkelson was the first senior lady to break through 600, with a 614 series that included a nice 247 game. In Byron, it was junior bowler Jenny Meyer, who had a 202 and 200 to help her to a very nice 591 series.
