Student allegedly hits teacher at school

A 14-year-old student being removed from a school room for disruptive behavior apparently hit a teacher in the back of the head Friday morning.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office reports the boy got upset while he was being escorted out of Burr Oak School by two teachers. The school is in the 3800 block of 50th Avenue Northeast.

The boy has been detained and could face gross misdemeanor or felony charges.
