Studio Academy plans monthly concerts

Now that school's back in session, so are the monthly concerts at Studio Academy High School, in Rochester.

One Friday each month will feature concerts by local talent as well as out of town bands.

All shows run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the school, located at 707 First Ave. N.E. The shows are open to all ages. Cover is $5 at the door.

The Article Event, an alternative rock band, The Overseer Project, a melodic hard-core group, and Sold Separately, a hard-rock band, will play Oct. 8.

On Nov. 12, there will be experimental bluegrass by Mot Mot, alternative rock by Grickle Grass and experimental rock by Guitarzan vs. Basszilla.


Silent Rhino, a hard-core band, and Lusus Naturae, an experimental rock group, will play Dec. 10.
