Sumner Elementary School’s Student Council has made service learning a priority this year, with The Mower County Humane Society the focus of their most recent project.
For one week in March, student council members sold individual "Lifesavers" for ten cents.
On April 7, students presented the Humane Society with the $100 that was raised from the sales.
